Inexpensive Kitchen Tools You’ll Wonder How You Ever Lived Without!

Stainless Steel Pineapple Easy Slicer

 Spiral Pineapple Slicer

I LOVE fresh pineapple but used to avoid buying it, since they can be so difficult to cut without a lot of mess. Then, my friends gave me the All Ware Stainless Steel Pineapple Easy Slicer and De-Corer as a housewarming gift and I haven’t looked back!

Get it for $3.55 shipped with Amazon Prime!

It super easy to use. Cut off the top of the pineapple, then just choose the tube that’s a bit bigger than the pineapple’s core and screw in the handle. Lightly push the serrated end of the tube over the pineapple’s core and turn the handle.

You end up with a perfect spiral of pineapple rings! Great for your Easter ham — fresh pineapple is so much better than canned! And, as an added bonus, you get a a nice shell should you have a craving for tropical umbrella drink! ;)

Mango Splitter

Mango Splitter

Before I added a Mango Splitter to my kitchen arsenal, I would cut a mango on all 4 sides and then gnaw at the pit over the sink to get at all that luscious mango goodness. So much is wasted by cutting with a knife.

Now, I whip out my Mango Splitter, stand the mango on it’s end on top of a cutting board, and with one fell swoop, get 2 nice size mango chunks with little left attached to the pit.

And to make it even prettier to use in recipes – just take one of the sections, lightly cut a grid into the fruit without going all the way through to the skin. Then, push up on the center of the skin to “pop out” the fruit! You’ll still need to cut the perfect squares of mango away from the skin. So pretty in a salad!

Amazon has a Mango Splitter on sale for $10.99 shipped with Amazon Prime
